Meet the experienced and friendly doctors who make Northeastern Washington Eyecare a proud provider of vision care products and services.
Dr. Crance was born in South Dakota and moved to Northeastern Washington at a young age where he attended Riverside High School. He went on to attend Gonzaga University and graduated with a Bachelor of Business administration. Dr. Crance completed his optometric education at Pacific University College of Optometry.
After graduation, he and his family moved back to Eastern Washington where he worked for over two years in the Spokane area practicing full scope Optometry before joining Newport Vision Source and Colville Vision Source in the fall of 2018. In the fall of 2019, Dr. Crance purchased Newport Vision Source from Drs. Fenno and plans to continue their commitment to the Newport community. When Drs. Michael and Cheryl Fenno retired in 2022 Dr. Crance took over their Colville Location as well to help ensure both communities continued to have the optometric care they need. Dr. Crance is an active member of the Optometric Physicians of Washington as well as the American Optometric Association.
His hobbies include skiing, hiking, fishing, hunting, and camping and he is excited to be able to practice Optometry in Northeastern Washington where he and his wife, Kim, are raising their three young children.
Dr. Elizabeth Peters was raised in The Dalles, Oregon. She attended the University of Oregon where she graduated from the Robert D. Clark Honors College with a B.S. in General Science, and minors in Biology, Chemistry, and Global Health. Dr. Peters continued her education by attending Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon.
Dr. Peters recently moved to Northeastern Washington with her husband. She enjoys reading, traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family. Dr. Peters has a passion for serving rural populations and thoroughly enjoys her career as an Optometrist at both the Colville and Newport Vision Source locations.
Originally from Helena, Montana, Dr. Phelan earned his undergraduate degree from Carroll College before completing his Doctor of Optometry at Pacific University.
He values the opportunity to care for a diverse range of patients and is dedicated to helping each one achieve their best vision.
Outside of the office, Dr. Phelan is an enthusiastic foodie who enjoys fishing, traveling to new places, and relaxing on white sandy beaches.
Dr. Glennie is from Nine Mile Falls, Washington. He attended Washington State University. There he got a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Psychology. Following undergraduate school, Dr. Glennie attended Pacific University College of Optometry. There he found he prefers private practice optometry and treating ocular disease, dry eye and myopia control.
He and his fiancée Natalie have an Australian Shepherd named Ace. They enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, golf, and skiing. Dr. Glennie enjoys spending his summers at the Pend Oreille River.
